New Nintendo Console Nintendo 3DS
The new Nintendo 3DS is already out there. The design and hardware are what sets this apart from all of the others. While most gamers are loyal to their system, many like to try the new devices and systems that are out there. Understanding what makes this system different than the others is a few components that we will be going over. In this review, the new Nintendo Console, the Nintendo 3DS will wet your lips and have you wanting more.
The Hardware
The hardware for this device is one that is very shiny and slick. The finish on the console makes it easy to pick up dirt. By buying this system, be aware that it will look messy if it is used a lot. While this console is a fingerprint magnet, it also has a very futuristic view. A clean and shiny look makes it look much like science fiction. Compared to the DS and DS lite, it has some weight on it. It isn't the lightest system on the market and the d-pad makes it feel a bit shallow. If you have irritated fingers, you will be able to do more with less effort. The pad is compared to the PSP analog stick and it feels very similar. Designed for comfort, the ease of the controls will have it going your way in no time. The stylus is now at the top left of the system. This used to be weird but now they have a metal pole instead of the cheap plastic that broke easily. This makes the DS5 more durable and longer lasting. You can also replace parts if it does break.
The Battery
The battery on the Nintendo 3DS is considered by some to be a design flaw. Even though the system has as an adapter that you can leave it on to charge it, the battery life will only be 3-4 hours. This is fine if you live in a place that has an electrical socket, however this system is to be left behind when you go on a 15 hour flight across the world.
The 3D Effect of the Nintendo 3DS
If you are looking for a system that blows you away in 3D effects, this is not the one. Nintendo seems to be playing around with the 3D effects a little bit. Due to this reality, it is far from being perfected and will continue to get better. While the system might be great as it is, it's only going to get better. The conclusion on the 3D for Nintendo 3DS is that it needs improvements but its progressive.
The Nintendo DS5 is a system that seems to be between advancement. While the system itself is better than the light by design and by graphics, there is still a lot of work to be done. If you are tired to certain aspects of the DS lite in terms of design and the effect of the graphics, give the Nintendo 3DS a chance.
